All above items are premium grade Western Red Cedar. We have seen many similar products made of inferior grades of White Cedar, Teak, Douglas Fir, Alaska Yellow Cedar, and Ponderosa Pine. All these other species are considerably lacking when compared to our products made from premium grade Western Red Cedar. We will not use anything less than the best lumber available.
