Most glass lampshades on this page are special orders, except the IES glass reflector bowls are in stock. If price is not shown, please call for current information.
All Glass Shades are shipped by UPS or Priority Mail, Insured. Even though we pack them all the same, very carefully, our experience has been that if the package is NOT insured, it will arrive broken almost every time! It is well worth the extra money for insurance on any glass shipment. UPS charges extra fee for residential delivery. Large glass shades are double-boxed for protection in shipment. An additional $5 is charged for packing materials for packages 16" and larger. We use a lot of bubble wrap, foam peanuts, & styrofoam spacers to protect the delicate glass. Call to learn costs for shipping and insurance by either method.

French Vianne Glass Banker's Lamp Glass ReplacementsClick on pictures to enlarge Dimensions of Vianne Banker's shades: 8-7/8" wide, 5-1/2" front to back, 3-1/2" height
Vianne Glass Marine Blue, Dark Green, and White (Opal) cased glass are in stock. The difference in the quality is undeniable. Prices for Vianne Glass are much higher because of the process used in manufacturing and the excellent quality of workmanship. There are actually 3 layers of glass: White on the inside, Clear in the middle, and color on the outside layer. There is a high breakage ratio in the manufacture of banker's lamp glass because of the hole-drilling process. In spite of the high quality of Vianne Glass shades, occasionally there will be a slight imperfection in the glass. This is unavoidable, and is not considered a defect. ******************* Pictured below, on top row, "Pharmacy Shades", are Vianne Glass, except the green "duckbill" shade is a Chinese import. Shades called "Banker's Shades" on bottom row are imports from China. They typically have imperfections in the glass which can appear as bubbles when the light is on. Rarely, if ever, will you find a Chinese import of the same quality as the Vianne French-made Banker's shades.
